R. J. DOERR COMPANY was commissioned to relocate a large 47’ x 91’, timber-framed bank barn from Gettysburg, PA, to a new hillside site in Williams Township, PA.
The scope of work was broad, including:

The Laman Carriage House in Finesville, NJ, is a c. 1860, Victorian-era carriage barn that accompanies an original Reigel family home. R. J. DOERR COMPANY completed the first phase of the barn restoration project that included extensive temporary support and shoring to enable the complete replacement of its foundation, floor system, and lower wall sections.
Many other building components were subsequently restored to their original appearance. Future phased work will include window, siding, and roofing work, as well as restoration of the structure’s distinctive cupola.

Partial reconstruction and restoration of a frame 19th century wagon house and adjoining two-bay garage addition.
Design-Build: R. J. DOERR COMPANY
This project entailed the design and construction of a garage and utility building to compliment the early New Jersey frame house situated nearby. The garage features vertical board and batten siding and a standing seam copper roof.
